- Market Demand: Single-layer stretch film is adhesive on both sides, while double-layer stretch film is adhesive on only one side. The optimal choice depends on the specific requirements of your target market.
- Glue Cost Efficiency: Single-layer stretch film production involves mixing 5% glue with 50kg of material, resulting in 2.5kg of glue used. In contrast, double-layer stretch film uses two extruders (25kg each), with only one extruder’s material mixed with 5% glue, reducing glue usage to 1.25kg. This makes double-layer production more cost-effective regarding glue consumption.
- Raw Material Flexibility: Double-layer stretch film manufacturing allows for a broader selection of raw materials, enabling further optimization of material costs.
